Founded in 2000, the brand LORENA PAGGI is named after its Founders Loredana Giusti & Morena Parmegiani who share a deep love for handcrafted footwear and a common vision of style.
Their shoes are conceived for cosmopolitan women who know how to dare and be trendy paying attention to every detail.
The entire manufacturing process takes place in the famous Shoemaking District of the Marche region.
The "Sacchetto" Construction Method
The "Sacchetto" Construction Method (which involves about 200 manual steps) makes the shoes extremely flexible and light, ensuring maximum comfort to the wearer who can also benefit from a memory foam layer that diminishes the pressure on the plantar arch and provides long-lasting shock absorption. During the sewing stage, the lining is attached as if it were a "small bag" ("sacchetto" in Italian) so as to adhere “like a glove” along its edge.
All the rigid components used in different types of techniques are avoided. There are no seams or stitches that irritate, rub or restrict the feet, this allows a more natural movement. This elaborate procedure requires the outstanding expertise and precision of highly skilled artisans who will arrange the ironing on a heated hand-beating structure to obtain the desired shape.
